  • Hi everyone, I'm a fresh q-sys programmer. I just met an "processing memory overflow" error in my design. Anyone can help to tell what is this problem and how to fix it? Many thanks~~

  • Did you get a response from QSC regarding this? It would be helpful to know what caused this.

QSC seem to have gone dead on this forum. Its a bit disappointing.

  • I can't speak authoritatively on this, but I believe that different audio processing modules require different CPU and memory resources.

I've found that the audio "effects" (e.g. reverb, flanger) tend to use more memory - presumably because they require a longer history of samples in order to create the effect.
If you have a lot of these modules, you can run out of memory before CPU (whereas usually the CPU would impose the processing limit).

What do you have in your design?
