  • Hi, this is probably a daft question with a very simple answer...

    How do I do a momentary output on a Scriptable Control? Do I have to set the output to true, start a timer then set it to false when the timer goes off? This seems rather convoluted. There doesn't seem to be any documentation about this? The only mention I can find of momentary actions in LUA is using :Trigger() but

    Code: Select all
    Controls["myoutput"]:Trigger();

    doesn't do anything. Where is the documentation for this?

  • The control needs to be of the "Trigger" type for :Trigger() to work. This should do what you need.

    I thought as much. It just seemed odd to me that you can't make a momentary button "blip". But trigger works fine. Not sure why I wasn't using it from the start. Thank you.
