  • Hey All,
I need some help with an old QSC 1700 Amp. I just picked up an old 1700 and it has a couple of issues that I need help with. Only channel 1 is working and the mono bridge switch appears to be broken off. I can't select or deselect the mono bridge. How can I figure out if Channel 2 is bad or if the mono bridge is selected?

    Thanks

  • Is the entire switch broken off the circuit board, or just part of it?

  • There is no part of the switch sticking out so I can select or deselect mono bridge. I can't see how bad its broken without taking the amp apart.

  • If you can't use a small pointed tool or some other means to move the switch, then I would suggest that you take the amp to checked out by a qualified service tech.

If the switch is damaged in a way that no signal gets passed to channel 2, that could cause channel 2 to seem defective. It could also be that channel 2 is defective. This has to be determined.
