  • Hello!

First off, thanks for any help with this!

I have a PLX 1202. Channel one has to be at 32 (maximum) to equal channel two's volume output at 22(12 O'clock/half volume). So far it has worked like this for 10 years with no other problems. But I would like to know if there is a fix for this.

    Much Appreciation,

  • Yes, that can be fixed. Have a qualified service technician check out the amp and find where the gain problem exists.

If the amp was manufactured before June 1999 and has never had its ribbon cables replaced, that could be the culprit. A service tech with good desoldering and soldering equipment should be able to swap out the ribbon cables with about an hour's work. Order QSC service kit # SG-000210-AC.
