  • I just purchased a qsc gx3 for my home studio powering krk r6 passives and avantone mixcubes so i can a/b my mixes between the two sets of speakers
Is it save to use a Niles HPS-4 Speaker Selector to switch between these to sets of speakers on my new acquired qsc gx3?

  • Is it just a switch? The important thing is that the load impedance presented to the amp is 4 ohms per channel or higher.

  • Yes, It's just a switch handles 4 or 8 ohms 250 watts per channel and it accepts 12 ga. Wire

  • As long as you have a load impedance of 4 ohms or higher on the amp channels it should work.
