  • Hello. I hope to get a discussion going and hopefully find a solution. I have searched around and couldn't find what I was looking for. I would like to biamp a vrx928 and noticed the following specs:
Program power 60 watts, 2 drivers
    Impedance 16 ohm

I'm a little confused. Should I power with 120 watts at 8 ohm (the 2 drivers will go to 8 ohm). Or should I power with 100 watts at 8 ohm (assuming the amp then runs 16 ohm at 60% of its 8 ohm rating)

    Anyone running the vrx928 biamped?

  • I would recommend an amp with a power rating of up to about 120 watts, ±20%, into 8 ohms.
