  • I've been running a bridged RMX2450 for every pair of B&C 18TBX100 speakers... (i run four RMX2450s, and eight scoops) I was thinking about moving to the PL380 so i can reduce the amount of weight i carry, but also increase power. (two PL380s, for the eight scoops) Since I'm trying to upgrade, is the PL380 what i should be looking at or is there another QSC amp thats cheaper with that type of power.

    thank you

  • The PL380 is the only QSC amp in its power range. The next one down is the RMX5050a, which is about 2 dB lower in power.

You can use two RMX2450 or RMX2405a amps to get power points similar to what one PL380 offers.
