  • i have 3 rmx 2450...from what i hear,,these are power hungry...i would like to run one at 4 ohms bridged, one at 8ohms bridged & one running 4 ohms stereo...i know it's safer to plug each one to it's own wall socket but i am thinking about investing in a pdu block or unit just to be on da safe side...what amp pdu,16,32 0r 63, would u recomend to plug in two of the three amps...btw..most of the time i,m plugging into pub or small hall circutry...thanx...

  • I think you're located in the UK, is that correct?

If so, the 230V typical worst-case current demand for the RMX2450 would be:
    4Ω bridged—4.6 A
    8Ω bridged—3.2 A
    4Ω stereo—3.2 A

  • thanks bob lee...still a bit confused..pls be patient with me..yes i'm in the uk..simply this..would the qsc rmx 2450,,at 4ohms bridged,,pushed just below clipping((green is clean)),,blow a 13 amp plug fuse if pluged into the wall socket by itself?? i try always to run my amps in stereo but sometimes i need to bridge them to get the power required..this is going to be my first time trying bridge mode myself so as someone who's careful you could say i'm paranoid...your patience & help is much appreciated..

  • 4.6 A << 13 A, so an RMX2450 in bridged mono into a 4Ω load would not blow a 13 A fuse.
