  • Hello everybody,
I would need to know how to get the maximum performance and maximum power of a single subwoofer with my GX5. ( to get that blow dry of bass sound, characteristic of a subw.) Could you tell me what kind of subwoofer use? 15 " ?, 18" ? 4 ohms or 8? Power? Any particular brand ?
    Thank you so much

  • QSC will soon release an 18" passive sub, the E18-sw. The GX5 has a built-in crossover mode, where 100 Hz and below goes to channel 1 for a sub (total 4Ω or higher), and channel 2 gets 100 Hz and above for the main loudspeaker(s), also a total of 4Ω or higher.
