  • We are going to be using our Touch Mix 16 this weekend for the first time.
    Accoustic guitar, elec bass, drums/percussion and vocals.
    Playing through TM16, Crown power amp and 2 Bose L1 Model 2's.
    The room is long, narrow and echos.
    Is there something on the board or maybe speaker placement that might help.

  • In an acoustically challenging room like that, I would recommend placing and angling the loudspeakers so that they are close to the audience and cover it well, but at the same time they do not direct much sound onto the walls. Keep the volume reasonable, including on stage.
